For beginners learning how to meditate and experienced meditators seeking the support of a community ('sangha'). Each session includes instruction, discussion, and Q&A. While similar topics are covered in each session, no two are exactly the same.

Mindfulness is paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment with kindness and curiosity in a non-judgmental manner.
Thirty years of scientific research have shown that the effectiveness of mindfulness has helped with illness, anxiety, worry, stress, and decision-making. Mindfulness and Meditation have also been able to help manage emotions and increase the capacity for compassion, empathy, self-care, and self-love. Mindfulness practices are widely used in business, healthcare, and education.

Expect this class to be easy, comfortable, and fun. You will learn to:
- Experience a beginner meditation practice to cultivate a calm mind & inner peace.
- Learn breathing techniques that reduce stress and anxiety.
- Practice gratitude.
- Find joy in being present
